PETG sheet is easy to produce products with complex shape and large draw ratio. Moreover, unlike PC board and impact modified acrylic, this kind of board does not need to be pre dried before hot forming. Compared with PC board or acrylic, it has shorter molding cycle, lower temperature and higher yield.
The extruded sheet of PETG sheet is usually 15 to 20 times stronger than general-purpose acrylic and 5 to 10 times stronger than impact modified acrylic. PETG sheet has enough bearing capacity in the process of processing, transportation and use, which helps to prevent cracking.
PETG plate provides excellent weather resistance. It can keep the tenacity of the product and prevent yellowing. It contains ultraviolet absorber, which can be extruded into a protective layer to protect the board from the harmful influence of ultraviolet.
PETG sheet can be sawed, die cut, drilled, punched, sheared, riveted, milled and cold bent without breaking. The slight scratch on the surface can be eliminated by hot air gun. Solvent bonding is also a routine operation. It is easier to process than general acrylic, impact modified acrylic or PC board, and can be processed by flocking, electroplating, static electricity, etc.
