PETG

The material of PETG is a kind of transparent plastic and amorphous copolyester. The common comonomer of PETG is 1,4-cyclohexanediol (CHDM), which is called polyethylene terephthalate -1,4-cyclohexanediol ester.

Thermoforming property

PETG board is easy to produce products with complex shapes and large stretching ratio. Moreover, unlike PC board and anti-impact modified acrylic, this kind of board does not need to be pre-dried before thermoforming. Compared with PC board or acrylic, it has shorter molding period, lower temperature and higher yield.

Hardiness

The extrusion plate of PETG plate is usually 15 to 20 times tougher than general acrylic, and 5 to 10 times tougher than impact-resistant modified acrylic. PETG plates have sufficient bearing capacity in the process of processing, transportation and use, which is helpful to prevent cracking.

Weather Resistance

PETG sheet provides excellent weather resistance. It can maintain the toughness of the product and prevent it from turning yellow. It contains ultraviolet absorbent, which can be squeezed together into a protective layer, protecting the plate from harmful effects of ultraviolet rays.
