Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene plastic(ABS)

Main features

1.Plastic ABS resin is the polymer with the largest output and the most extensive application. It organically unifies various properties of PB, PAN and PS, and has both toughness, hardness, excellent mechanical properties of rigid phase equilibrium. ABS is A terpolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. A represents acrylonitrile, B represents butadiene, and S represents styrene. Through practical use, it is found that ABS plastic pipe is not resistant to sulfuric acid corrosion, and will be crushed when encountering sulfuric acid.

2.Most ABS are non-toxic, water-permeable, but slightly water-permeable, with low water absorption rate. The water absorption rate of soaking at room temperature is less than 1% a year, while the physical properties do not change. The surface of ABS resin products can be polished to obtain highly glossy products. The strength is 3-5 times higher than that of common plastics.

3.ABS has excellent comprehensive physical and mechanical properties and good low-temperature impact resistance. Dimensional stability. Good electrical performance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, dyeing property, finished product processing and mechanical processing. ABS resin is resistant to water, inorganic salts, bases and acids, insoluble in most alcohols and hydrocarbon solvents, but easily soluble in aldehydes, ketones, esters and some chlorinated hydrocarbons. The thermal deformation temperature of ABS resin is low and combustible, and the heat resistance is poor. Melting temperature at 217~237 ℃, the thermal decomposition temperature above 250 ℃. In today’s market, many modified ABS materials are mixed with nozzle materials and recycled materials. As a result, the performance of the customer’s molded products is not very stable.

1.ABS plastic is one of the main materials for 3D printing. The reason why it can become a consumable material for 3D printing is determined by its characteristics. ABS plastic has heat resistance, impact resistance, low temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance and electrical properties, stable product size and other characteristics. ABS plastic is the most stable material in 3D printing materials.

2.The biggest application fields of ABS resin are automobiles, electronic appliances and building materials. The use of automobile field includes many parts such as automobile dashboard, car body outer panel, interior decorative panel, steering wheel, sound insulation panel, door lock, bumper, ventilation pipe, etc. In terms of electrical appliances, it is widely used in refrigerators, televisions, washing machines, air conditioners, computers, photocopiers and other electronic appliances. In terms of building materials, ABS pipes, ABS sanitary ware and ABS decorative boards are widely used in building materials industry. In addition, ABS is also widely used in packaging, furniture, sports and entertainment products, machinery and instrument industries.
